Install Mr. Zhang      IE via proxy      Work with Firefox and Autoproxy     Use Google Chrome




1. Install Mr. Zhang

Start install Mr. Zhang, just press “Next” when prompted. You can select “Create a desktop icon” and “Run Mr. Zhang after installation”.



Run Mr. Zhang, click “Connect” button as this:
 



After connected, click “Hide” button like this:



2. IE via proxy

With Mr. Zhang connected, click “IE via proxy”,


A pop-up window appears.



Now you can browse with IE via proxy.



If you want to restore your IE settings, just click “IE local” button or just exit Mr. Zhang.






3. Work with Firefox and Autoproxy


1)   Download the latest version of Firefox. Click here.

2)   Install Firefox: Double click Firefox installer, click “Next”.





Please run Firefox after installation.


3)   Install Autoproxy

After Firefox started, select “Tools”-“Add-ons”
 



Select “Get Add-ons” tab and input “Autoproxy” in the search box and click the search icon.


Then click the “See all results”.

This will open a tab with all search results of “autoproxy”.




Select the checkbox and click “Add to Firefox”.



After the add-on installed, click “Restart Firefox” button.



After Firefox restart, 2 dialogs will be popped out: Autoproxy’s settings and Add-ons.




Check the “gfwList” and click “OK”. For add-ons, click “Options” like this:








Now Autoproxy has been configured.


Now with Autoproxy’s help, Firefox can automatically select proxies according to the URL that you want to access. If it’s still not work, you may need to add new proxy rules in Autoproxy. All sites not listed in Autoproxy will access directly for better performance.

4. Use Google Chrome

Google Chrome uses proxy settings from IE, so please refer to the IE section.
